Promoting a healthy community by reducing the impact of nicotine and tobacco use on youth and adults.
Mission:
The mission of Tobacco Free Union is to advance policies that will help end nicotine addiction in Union County. We work collectively towards eliminating initiation and use of tobacco and alternative nicotine products among Union County residents, supporting tobacco policy change and educating decision-makers about the impacts of tobacco use and nicotine addiction on the lives of Union County residents and visitors.

MEETINGS & EVENTS
The Tobacco Free Union typically meets every 3 months. Meetings are open to the public, and guests are welcome! Our meeting schedule for fisal year 24-25 will be September 18, 2024, November 13, 2024, February 19, 2025 and April 16, 2025 from 3:15pm to 4:00pm via Google Meet. The next Students Working Against Tobacco meeting will be held on campus at Union County High School and/or Lake Butler Middle School during club days. For more information about the

Local initiatives supported by the Tobacco Free Union partnership include those intended to:
- Stop illegal tobacco and vape product sales and predatory marketing practices. Learn more here.

YOUTH ADVOCACY
Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) mobilizes and equips youth to protect their generation from the tobacco and vaping industries. Union County SWAT members build leadership skills and plan activities to help raise awareness and support for policies that benefit the community.
